“I'm going to share a little secret as to why I love the design process so much — a well-designed wedding isn't just for looks and instagram-worthy photo opps. A well-designed wedding allows for the most important goal I have as a wedding planner: to create experiences and settings where family and friends can connect authentically, be fully present, and let their hair down and HAVE FUN. I loved all of the design elements of Cara + Max's gorgeous wedding weekend — from the colorful cocktail welcome party in the middle of a wooded meadow, to the quintessentially "California elegant" celebrations in the lush garden landscape of Carmel Valley, to the hot pink disco party at the end of the night. But what I'll remember most was how Cara + Max — and every single one of their family members and friends — had the absolute time of their lives for 3 magical (and, ahem, beautifully designed!) days. I'm so grateful Hannah Greenwood was there to capture every moment of spontaneous joy, heartfelt toasts, the epic dance party, and of course, the deep love between these two incredible humans.”
